Egyptian

These images are taken of a store in London. I loved the products and the whole culture feel towards the store. I find the ancient Egyptian decor and riches to be beautiful. Coffins such as Tutankhamun have always appealed to be with the colouring (gold, royal blues) along with the material and actually design such as the nautical stripes creates an interesting style and give direction and shape to a piece. luxurious
I think the pieces could easily be used to create an interesting interior for a home, simple furnishings could work will in a complementary form alongside the extravagant pieces, luxurious fabrics and quilts could be hung in a room to harmoniously highlight the intense structure of the sphinxes, or sculptures.
I would like to look into how I could incorporate ancient Egyptian culture and designs into work, I think textiles and illustrations, such as wallpaper designs would be a great route to take.
